Isaac Kundakogo Kunko is a member of the Transactions and Advisory team at AB Lexmall & Associates. His practice focuses on intellectual property, competition law, pharmaceutical and healthcare regulation, and related policy matters.

Isaac advises clients on regulatory compliance across a range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, technology and telecommunications. His intellectual property experience includes advising on trademark registration, brand protection and the protection and commercial use of other intellectual property rights. He combines legal knowledge with practical industry experience to help clients understand both the regulatory requirements and commercial implications of their decisions.

Before joining AB Lexmall & Associates, Isaac practised as a pharmacist in Ghana’s public and private sectors. He served as Head of Pharmacy at the Lawra District Hospital and as Executive Secretary of the hospital’s Drugs and Therapeutics Committee. He has also worked as a superintendent pharmacist for leading retail and wholesale pharmaceutical companies. This multidisciplinary background gives him a distinctive understanding of the legal, technical and operational issues affecting the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.

Isaac holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Intellectual Property and Competition Law from the

Munich Intellectual Property Law Center at the University of Augsburg, Germany. He also holds a

Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of Ghana. He is currently completing his doctoral studies in Germany.

Isaac is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana. He is also a member of the Ghana Bar Association and the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana.
